Strip wound metal conduit can be used to protect WARDFLEX®/WARDFLEX® II CSST when the tubing is in a concealed location and cannot be displaced a minimum of 3 in from a puncture threat or the distance between supports is less than 24 in. Strip wound conduit cannot be used as a substitute for striker plates where tubing passes through structural members.
