The tool’s unusual configuration permits the use of normal ¼” SAE manifold/hose sets with R-410A systems containing 5⁄16″ (½”-20UNF) service ports. It is intended to remove and replace the valve core without affecting system charge, and it improves evacuation and charging speed by providing unrestricted access.
